Maranatha Christian Academy strives to provide safe, reliable transportation for your children. All facets of our transportation program are managed in-house. We hand-select trustworthy bus drivers to drive our students. We believe that by utilizing our own vehicles and hiring qualified, experienced drivers, the safety and security of transporting your children is ensured.
Athletics and Field Trips: To get the top performance out of our athletes, Maranatha provides transportation for athletes to many games. During the school day, our bus is also used to take our students on a variety of field trips.
Car Pool: MCA publishes a carpool directory each year for families interested in having their children share a ride to school with other MCA families. Directories are provided only to those families who register to be in the directory. You may register by filling out the Carpool Registration Form (see forms below). District 279 Busing: MCA is located in school district 279. Therefore, any students living in district 279 may elect to ride a district 279 public school bus to the north campus at no cost. Click here for dates that ISD 279 is not in session and MCA is in session. Note: parents are responsible for arranging transportation to and from school on these days.
Bus Reimbursement: A Parent Request for Transportation Reimbursement Form (see below) is available in the MCA registration packet. It must be filled out and returned to the business office when students register at MCA. MCA reports the information to each school district; however it is the responsibility of the parents to be familiar with their district’s requirements. Reimbursement amounts and timing vary widely within each district. Parents can expect a reimbursement check in the summer following the completion of the school year.
