Making a difference in this generation—and the next. The Grandparent & Special Friends Association is designed to assist and empower grandparents/friends to: Become educated and passionately invested—spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and financially—in the mission of the school. View their role as a resource of time, love, and encouragement that God can use to assist the development of children into well-educated, life-long learners, prepared for the great commission and a successful adult life.
In addition, the GP&SF Association will give you opportunities for group/social involvement, a vital role in planning special events, and recognition throughout Grandparent & Special Friends Days (an annual event that gives every student at every grade level an opportunity to invite their grandparent(s) and/or special friend(s) to come to school and be a part of their life for one day on campus). The GP&SF Association serves as a portal to help you become more directly involved with the education of MCA students, including your grandchildren. Opportunities for involvement include: Praying for MCA Tutoring Helping in the cafeteria Chaperoning field trips Assisting in the classroom with parties or projects Teaching a special class Reading stories to the class Helping in the copy center Serving on various planning committees Financial support
