The girls' basketball team powered through the Section playoffs and laid claim to another birth in the State Tournament - their third such appearance in as many years. This year they enter as the State's #1 team. The Lady Mustangs bid to repeat will not be easy as they face a strong Isle team in the first round of the tournament.

Should the Mustangs prevail, their game schedule will be as follows:
- Quarter Finals = Thursday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Williams Arena on the U of Minnesota campus
- Semi-Finals = Friday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Target Center
- Championship Game = Saturday, March 17 at 12:00 noon at Target Center
