School Governance

Maranatha Christian Academy, a ministry of Living Word Christian Center (LWCC), is subject to the church's existing governing structure. MCA's chief administrator reports directly to LWCC's senior pastor and executive board. These entities are responsible for the legal functioning of the school as well as policies implemented that are consistent with the school's mission, core values and statement of faith.

MCA is voluntarily accountable to three external accrediting agencies: International Christian Accrediting Association, North Central Schools of Accreditation, and Commission for International and Trans-Regional Accreditation. MCA is also accountable to the Minnesota Department of Education and other state and federal agencies.
